Meet Our Team

Mark

OWNER / PRESIDENT

Mark was involved in miscellaneous construction projects from an early age. Having found his true passion in the construction industry, he entered the Oregon Carpenters Union Apprenticeship program in 1985, while working for Walsh Construction Company in Portland, Or. In 1989, Mark completed the Journeyman’s Certification and continued working for Walsh Construction where he built college housing projects, multi-family residential complexes, commercial buildings and resort properties in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. In 2001, Mark became a licensed General Contractor and founded Choice NW Construction, Inc. where he focuses on residential interior remodeling and exterior construction. Residential remodeling became Mark’s passion, describing that “remodels are complex and take much more thought than new builds and new construction—you’re working with an existing structure and platform to update it with quality to create the client’s vision while making it look like it belongs.”

Cutter

LEAD CARPENTER

Cutter grew up around construction spending much of his time outside of school and sports helping his father, Mark, on projects big and small. After college, Cutter attained his Oregon Real Estate license and worked for a commercial real estate company as a broker in Portland. After a few years of working as a broker, he realized construction was what he really enjoyed. He moved his family to Sisters in 2020 and has worked for Choice NW since. “Working with homeowners on complex and unique projects of all types and sizes never gets old, especially in a beautiful place like Central Oregon.”

Since joining Homes Renovation Calgary, he has contributed his expertise to a wide range of complex and custom renovation projects. Working closely with homeowners to bring unique visions to life is a core part of what makes the work rewarding especially in the vibrant communities of Calgary and the surrounding area.

At Homes Renovation Calgary, we take pride in having a team that combines hands-on experience with a genuine passion for the craft. Many of our team members grew up around construction, gaining valuable knowledge from an early age by working on projects of all sizes. While some explored other industries, they ultimately returned to what they love most building and transforming homes. Since joining our team, they’ve brought their skills to a wide range of complex and custom renovation projects. At Homes Renovation Calgary, we don’t charge for our time spent estimating your project. Many of our estimates are detailed and thoughtfully prepared to reflect the full scope of work. Once the estimate is complete, we’ll review it with you to ensure clarity, transparency, and that everyone is aligned before moving forward.

Schedule and Begin Your Project

Once you’ve decided to move forward with your project, we’ll work with you to schedule a start date that fits your timeline. Whether you choose to stay in your home or temporarily relocate during the renovation, Homes Renovation Calgary takes cleanliness seriously. We use a 2000 CFM HEPA air scrubber during demolition to protect air quality and minimize dust — keeping your home as clean and livable as possible throughout the project.
